Milena Zu
After working and traveling throughout Asia, Milena Zu, a native of Turin, Italy landed in Bali and has lived there for over 13 years. Since then she has been developing the concept of mesh woven techniques applied to all kinds of metals. Each one of her pieces is a result of an arduous handcrafted process. The intricate weaving technique was used in the past only and exclusively to make jewels, hats, and garments for the ancient maharajas and nobility of the Orient. The materials used by Milena currently include gold, silver, copper, bronze, stainless steel, gems, pearls, and more. |
