Bruno Helgen
Bruno Helgen has followed a varied path during his artistic career. After graduating from a Fine Arts school in France, he worked for 4 years as a photographer for the Collectif Press Agency and then 9 years in movie production. In 1995 he discovered Bali and decided to make it his home. His least favorite study in art school was design and yet he was inspired, by the raw materials available to him in Bali and by the skilled competence of the craftsmen, to design and produce a host of unique high-end furniture and decorator items. His work is favored by private collectors and commercial organizations around the world who appreciate the unique lines and style of Bruno’s work. In the past few years Bruno has led his team in completely renovating and outfitting wooden yachts for several wealthy owners. Today Bruno and his staff are concentrating on unique wooden and resin globes and a superlative line of exclusive wooden and steel tables which have pushed his art to an even higher level. |
